Wrong analogy

Letter to the editor

Comparing Boozer to Arenas is a very poor analogy. Arenas only had a two-year contract. GS did not have a team option on the third year so after the second year Arenas automatically became a free agent. GS was over the cap so they could not give Arenas as much money as Washington could so Arenas left. The reason GS fans did not crucify management was because there was nothing management could have done. Cleveland, on the other hand, had a third-year option and let Boozer out of it. Had GS done the same with Arenas, then the fans would have been just as upset.
