Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:


• At 1:38 p.m. Tuesday, a woman reported her blue 1994 Chevrolet truck was stolen sometime during the last two years from a locked storage unit near Shaune Drive in the Lemon Creek area.

• A faux crocodile purse was reported stolen at 1:49 p.m. Tuesday near West Willoughby Avenue.

• A black purse was reported stolen at 11:55 p.m. Tuesday near Front Street. The purse reportedly held $2 and various cards.


• At 1:51 p.m. Tuesday, a gate off of Montana Creek Road was reported vandalized.

Vehicle accidents:

• Police cited a girl, 17, on a charge of careless driving and a man, 82, on a charge of failing to carry proof of insurance, after an accident at 3:48 p.m. Tuesday at Douglas Highway near the bridge. The 1989 Jeep Cherokee, driven by the girl, reportedly struck a 1985 Ford pickup, driven by the man. Damage was estimated at $7,000 to the Jeep and $3,500 to the Ford.

• At 4:58 p.m. Tuesday, a Dodge Durango, driven by a woman, 22, reportedly struck a bus, driven by a man, 42, on South Franklin Street. Damage was estimated at $2,500 to the Durango and $500 to $600 to the bus. No injuries were reported.
