Juneau police and fire officials and state police reported:

Bear complaint:

• At about 10:40 p.m. Sunday, a 31-year-old woman reported a bear in a garbage container in the 1000 block of Coogan Drive.

Driving without a license:

• At about 12:30 a.m. Monday, a 23-year-old man was cited on a charge of driving without a valid license on Glacier Highway. The vehicle was impounded.

Hit and run:

• At about 7:10 p.m. Sunday, a 47-year-old man reported that someone backed into his trailer on North Douglas Highway, causing $300 worth of damage to a garbage can and wall.

• At about 7:15 p.m. Sunday, an 18-year-old woman reported that her vehicle was struck while she traveled on Egan Drive.


• At about 2 a.m. Monday, a 45-year-old man reported that three men forcibly stole his wallet and $160 in cash from him on Egan Drive.


• At about 3 a.m. Monday, an 18-year-old man reported that his 1991 Dodge was rifled through in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

• At about 11:40 a.m. Monday, a 38-year-old woman reported a silver Pontiac Bonneville stolen.


• On Saturday, a 58-year-old man from Illinois was cited on a charge of snagging while he fished for salmon in Fish Creek.
