ANCHORAGE - An Anchorage man convicted of distributing crack cocaine has been sentenced to five years in federal prison.

U.S. Attorney Karen L. Loeffler says 41-year-old Isaac Hunter sold 27.9 grams to an informant and also arranged to sell crack on behalf of a co-defendant who was sentenced earlier this month.

Anchorage police also found 217 grams of powder cocaine when they stopped Hunter for a traffic violation.

U.S. District Court Judge Ralph R. Beistline imposed the sentence Wednesday.
