Forest explorers taking a look-'C' this weekend

JUNEAU - Can you see the "C?"

That's the question leaders will be asking youth Saturday during the Mendenhall Glacier Summer Forest Explorer Program which continues this week. This week's activity is "C-in Nature." Participants will explore the "C" shape in nature by examining various natural objects of the Mendenhall area.

The group will meet at 11 a.m., as it will weekly through September 25. Organizers are inviting children, 4-6 years old, and their parents or caregivers to take advantage of this free opportunity to explore nature with Forest Service staff.

Meet at the Pavilion and dress for the weather. For more information, contact the Visitor Center at 789-0097.
