Toumieux to speak on West Africa relief efforts

JUNEAU - Eric Toumieux, national director of World Vision Senegal, will address progress in development and relief efforts for West Africa at a community-wide gathering at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Chapel by the Lake.

Complimentary light refreshments will be served.

Since 2003, Chapel by the Lake has worked in partnership with World Vision in Senegal's Tattaguine region to decrease child mortality, provide essential training and income-generating skills for women, build and furnish schools and provide clean water for up to 8,000 people.
