New resources offered for new parents

JUNEAU - Starting Aug. 1, the Juneau Public Health Center will offer a universal postpartum outreach program for families with newborns. Public health nurses will provide families with information about infant care and feeding, parenting, immunizations, child care and resources available for families in their communities. The program is coordinated with Bartlett Beginnings and supported by Glacier Pediatrics, Rainforest Pediatric Care and the Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium providers.
