Daniel Franklin Malick died Jan. 20, 2010 in Islamabad, Pakistan.
He was born on Oct. 16, 1949 in Pittsburgh, Penn. He lived in Juneau for 30 years. He worked as a transportation infrastructure consultant.
He is survived by his wife, Kristine Trott, daughters Willow Malick and Honalee Elkan and son Cedar Malick.
A memorial will be held to honor Daniel's life and spread his ashes over Lynn Canal and the surrounding areas at 1 p.m. on August 14.
