Rindal, Merrell to marry Aug. 19
Victoria Merrell of Juneau and Matthew Rindal of Shoreview, Minn., will be married in a ceremony planned for 6 p.m. at Resurrection Lutheran Church. A reception will follow at Glacier Gardens.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Lucy and Ted Merrell of Juneau. She is a graduate of Concordia College in Moorhead, Mont., and is employed as an account executive for Upfront Productions.
The groom-elect is the son of Brad Rindal and Jackie Rindal of Shoreview. He is a graduate of Concordia College and is attending the School of Dentistry at the University of Minnesota.
The maid of honor will be Kristanne Anderson of Armidale, NSW, Australia, with bridesmaids Christa McMullen of Juneau, Kristine Ehlers of Bettendorf, Iowa, and Kristina Rindal of Shoreview, Minn.
The best man will be Chris Mertensotto of Shoreview, with groomsmen Greg Brown of Minneapolis, Minn., Jereb Cheatham of Long Beach, Calif., and Nelson Merrell of Juneau.
The couple will make their home in Roseville, Minn.
Hayden, Winther married June 27
Jensine Winther and Roger Hayden, both of Seattle, were married in a ceremony June 27 at Shoreline, Wash.
The bride is the daughter of Ada Winther and the late Gudmund Winther, both of Juneau. She is a graduate of the University of Washington and is employed as a Nurse Anesthetist for the University of Washington Medical Center.
The groom is the son of Donna Hayden and the late Dr. Glen Hayden. He is a graduate of Boston College Law School and is self-employed.
The couple will make their home in Seattle.
Johnson, Dalton married June 30
Minnie Johnson of Juneau and James Dalton of Hoonah were married in a ceremony June 30 at PCC Hall in Hoonah. A reception followed at the hall.
The bride is the daughter of Florence and Ed Fox. She is a graduate of Shadle Park in Spokane, Wash.
The groom is the son of George and Hattie Dalton Jr. He is a graduate of Hoonah High School and is employed as a pond man for Whitestone Logging Inc.
The matron of honor was Sharon Dalton. The escort was her son Wayne Williams.
The best man was Wilburt Pratt.
The couple will honeymoon in Hawaii until the end of the season and will make their home in Hoonah.
