Deb Barry and the Rendezvous Bar spearheaded the event, the Alaskan Brewing Co. and Specialty Imports offered beer and wine tastings, Will Muldoon and Karen Stewart led a team of Rotaract volunteers to coordinate the music and silent auction. Artist Joel Irwin created the terrific poster.
Musicians Kray van Kirk, Vicki van Fleet and Fleet Street, Tidewater, Jason Caputo and the Sit-In-With-the-Band Band, Patshiva and the Noodle of Doum, and Carl George provided wonderful entertainment all through the evening.
The Silent Auction featured a terrific selection of gifts, experiences, tickets, and art work. Their combined efforts raised a little more than $5,000 to help support the Juneau Arts and Culture Center. We deeply appreciate it, and want to thank all all involved and all who came to enjoy the event for making it such a success.
We are also thrilled to have received, at that event, a contribution of $500 from Juneau CHARR (Cabaret, Hotel, Restaurant and Retailers) in support of the Center. The support for this facility makes a huge difference in Juneau!
