JUNEAU - Three palettes of dishes were recently donated by Princess Cruises to local nonprofits. Polaris House, a vocational rehabilitation center for people with severe mental illnesses, recieved a donation of plates.
"It is so nice to have matching dishes, we had no idea they would be this nice," said Dorothy Green, Polaris House executive director. "We received enough dishes to serve 60 people in the new clubhouse."
Other nonprofits who received dishes included the AWARE shelter and Helping Hands.
"We are very happy to help out in Juneau," said Princess representative Kirby Day.
