Thanks to the tour bus driver who commented on people using their headlights. Headlights on cars should be used 24 hours a day, seven days a week, rain or sun. A car is much more visible when the headlights are on. It's a basic safety measure.

I was out hiking on the East Glacier trail with some friends from Europe who were totally shocked by the noise from the helicopters that consistently interrupted our conversation. They said that nothing like this would be tolerated in Europe and were shocked that it was allowed here in the U.S.

It's frightening and should not be tolerated.

I agree that the Christian churches have historically done a terrible job of accepting homosexuals. But that is changing and there are Christian churches that welcome gay folks just the way God made them. I urge people to find and support those churches. The anti-homosexual idea is not synonymous with Christianity.

The skid-resistant material on the dock ramp closest to the Yacht Club has, for some reason, been removed. That is an accident waiting to happen. It should be replaced immediately.

How can you have a democratic election with one candidate?
