ANCHORAGE - A Talkeetna man was convicted last week in connection with a two-day standoff.
A Palmer jury found Donald Voorhis guilty of 11 counts stemming from the incident where he held off Alaska State Troopers outside his trailer home in September 2006.
Among the charges, Voorhis was convicted of attempted murder for firing his gun at a trooper and assault for pointing the gun at troopers.
The incident began after Voorhis fired shots at a neighbor. His sentencing is set for November.
