Ivey, Baer to marry Aug. 5

Kluane Ivey and Jeff Baer, both of Salem, Ore., will be married in a ceremony at 1 p.m. Aug. 5 at Deepwoods Estate Gardens in Salem. A reception will follow at 2 p.m. at Celebrations Banquet Hall.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Bernard and Cynthia Ivey and Janice Ivey. She is a graduate of Juneau-Douglas High School and is employed as a office manager for Restlawn Funeral Home.

The groom-elect is the son of Jay and Elizabeth Baer. He is a graduate of Western Oregon State College in Monmouth, Ore., and is a language arts teacher for Dallas High School.

The couple will make their home in Salem, Ore.

Dyakanoff, Cameron to marry Aug. 5

Celeste Dyakanoff and Travers Cameron, both of Juneau, will be married in a ceremony at 6 p.m. Aug. 5 at Glacier Gardens Rainforest. A reception will follow at Auke Bay Inn.

Friends and relatives of the couple are invited to the wedding and reception.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Rhonda Pasquan of Juneau, Michael Lee of Juneau and Jon Dyakanoff of Ketchikan. She is employed as a graphic artist for the Juneau Empire.

The groom-elect is the son of Ron and Susan Cameron-Seater of Juneau and Gary Betts of Willsonville, Ore. He is employed as a commercial fisherman.

The maid of honor will be Robyn Crombie, with bridesmaids Clare Sanders-Rouget and Heather Dennis.

The best man will be Russel Able, with groomsmen Tim Dahl and Shane Miller.

Mark Dyakanoff will give the bride away, and the couple's son, Tristian, will be the ring bearer.

The couple will honeymoon in the Pacific Northwest and will make their home in Juneau.

Martin, Davenport to marry Sept. 2

Jill Martin and Jim Davenport, both of Juneau, will be married in a ceremony at 7 p.m. Sept. 2 at the Vistas Sports Club in Mesquite, Nev. A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.

Friends and relatives of the couple are invited to the wedding and reception.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Ruth and David Martin. She is a graduate of the University of Utah and is currently employed by the state of Alaska.

The groom-elect is the son of Jim Davenport and the late Julia Davenport. He is a graduate of the University of Alaska Southeast and is currently employed as a computer specialist for the Department of Energy.

The maid of honor will be Sara Martin.

The couple will make their home in Elberton, Georgia.
