Davin Savikko was placed on the chancellor's list for a 4.0 grade-point average for the spring 2006 semester at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. In addition, he graduated with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts and is admitted to the Masters of Arts in Teaching program at the University of Alaska Southeast.

Brian Reishus was named to the spring 2006 semester dean's list at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Reishus is a student in the Air Traffic Control program and will be applying to the Federal Aviation Administration upon completion of his degree in May 2007. He is a 2004 graduate of Juneau-Douglas High School and the son of the late Karl Reishus and Sue Reishus-O'Brien and Sean O'Brien.
Juneau resident Elizabeth Stickel, daughter of Lorraine and Jack Stickel, is a recipient of a $1,500 college scholarship awarded at Elmendorf Air Force Base, one of the 268 commissaries operated worldwide by the Defense Commissary Agency. She is enrolled, or plans to enroll, at the University of Alaska Southeast. Her school and community activities include: National Honor Society, 4-H, Honor Music Festival, track and field and volunteering at the Glory Hole.
On July 1, Cleta Elefritz, of Juneau, will assume duties as director for Statewide Clubhouse Operations at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southcentral Alaska. Elefritz began her employment with the Boys & Girls Club in March 2006 as Southeast area manager, assuming responsibility for all Southeast Clubhouses and assisting Guy Klabunde, Statewide Expansion director, with the development of Klawock, Sitka and Haines. She was previously in education as a teacher and administrator.
Megan Clough, of Juneau, earned placement on the dean's list for the 2005 fall and 2006 spring semesters at Berklee College of Music in Boston. A 2003 Juneau-Douglas High School graduate, she is the daughter of Lisa Rollin and Mike McKrill, and John and Marian Clough. She earned dean's list standing during each of her six semesters at Berklee College of Music and is on schedule to graduate with her Bachelors in Music Education in May 2007.
Rosanna Hoskins, of Juneau, was named to the College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences dean's list for academic achievement for the 2006 spring semester. A 2005 graduate of Juneau-Douglas High School, Hoskins is attending the University of Moscow at Idaho.
On July 8, a doctoral degree in education with an emphasis on educational technology leadership was conferred upon Cathy Anderegg at Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif. Dr. Anderegg received a Master of Education in educational technology from the University of Alaska Southeast in May 1995. In June 1977, she received a Bachelor of Arts in French language from the University of California at Berkeley.
Juneau resident Anadel D. Piol, a sophomore at the University of Washington in Seattle, was named to the dean's list for the 2006 spring quarter. She is the daughter of Angel and Delia Piol.
