Junior Baseball All-Stars take on Nevada today

The Juneau Junior Baseball All-Stars dropped their first two game at the Western Regional Tournament in Beaverton, Ore.

Juneau, the Alaska state champs, dropped its first game against West Valley Little League of Eagle, Idaho 19-3 on Tuesday.

On Thursday, Juneau fell 8-0 to Cascade Little League of Vancouver, Wash.

Juneau continues pool play at 8 a.m. ADT today against Henderson Little League of Henderson, Nev.

The top two teams from each pool in the 12-team tournament advance to the single-elimination semifinal round. The region champion advances to the Junior Baseball Little League World Series in Taylor, Mich.
