JUNEAU - Two teenagers were flown to Seattle on Saturday for treatment of injuries suffered in a car wreck and fire.
Juneau police said they were in a car that rolled and burned Saturday night at Mile 21.5 of Glacier Highway.
Police, Capital City Fire and Rescue and the U.S. Forest Service responded to the scene at about 10 p.m.
The found a car engulfed in flames and a 19-year-old man and 17-year-old girl lying on the side of the road. The teenagers had been pulled from the wreckage.
Police said it appears they were driving north at a high rate of speed and that their car left the roadway and rolled.
Their names and the extent of their injuries was not released.
