Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

• Rory Kasnick, 25, was arrested for drunken driving and reckless endangerment at 12:15 a.m. Sunday near Mendenhall Loop Road. Kasnick was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Thefts:

• A trifold wallet and a Swiss Army watch were reported stolen at 10:33 a.m. Saturday near the Twin Lakes parking lot.

• A stereo and speaker box were reported stolen at 10:35 a.m. Saturday near Glacier Highway. The items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle sometime Friday night.

• A U.S. passport was reported stolen at 11:03 a.m. Saturday from an undisclosed location.

• A black fanny pack was reported stolen at 5:25 p.m. Saturday near Hospital Drive.

• A silver ring with multiple white stones was reported missing at 8:06 p.m. Sunday near Shell Simmons Drive.

Underage drinking:

• Police cited and released a boy, 13, for underage drinking at 8:06 p.m. Sunday near Shell Simmons Drive.

Vehicle accidents:

• Police cited a boy, 16, for careless driving following a two-vehicle accident at 7:29 p.m. Saturday near 12th Street and Glacier Avenue. The boy's 1992 green Ford Festiva sustained $1,500 in damage when it pulled out in front of a Chrysler New Yorker, driven by a man, 83. The New Yorker sustained $2,000 in damage.

• A girl sustained minor bumps and bruises resulting from being struck by a vehicle at 10:10 p.m. Saturday near Egan Drive's McNugget intersection. A man, 70, driving a 2000 silver Ford Ranger struck the girl as she crossed the street. The girl was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital where she was treated and released in good condition Sunday morning. Police cited the man for failing to yield to a pedestrian in the crosswalk.

Animal encounters:

• Bears were reported Saturday at 11:02 a.m. near Eighth Street, 11:09 a.m. near Capital Avenue, 2:13 a.m. near Willoughby Avenue, 2:42 p.m. near West Sixth Street, 3:20 p.m. near Calhoun Avenue, 9:11 p.m. near South Franklin Street, 9:16 p.m. near Glacier Highway, 9:17 p.m. near Glacier Highway in Lemon Creek and 9:21 p.m. near South Franklin Street.

• Bears were reported Sunday at 12:03 a.m. near Douglas Highway, 12:15 a.m. near Mendenhall Loop Road, 9:16 a.m. near Goldbelt Avenue and Dixon Street, 1:14 p.m. near West 10th Street, 5:37 p.m. near Gastineau Avenue and Franklin Street, 10:39 p.m. near Mendenhall Loop Road and 11:41 p.m. near Cinema Drive.

• Bears were reported today at 1:20 a.m. near Trinity Drive and 1:33 a.m. near Stephen Richards Memorial Drive.

Other:

• Flaming rolls of toilet paper were reported in the rest rooms at Sandy Beach 1:04 a.m. today. Two juveniles were seen leaving the rest rooms around 1 a.m. and smoke was seen coming from the rest rooms shortly after they left. Capital City Fire and Rescue responded and extinguished the fire.
