... for the care
We would like to express our appreciation and thanks to a number of people who helped with Louise Shattuck's care during her brief hospitalization; the EMTs who transported her to the ER, the ER staff, Drs. Mike Tobin, Catherine Peimann and Nathaniel Maddock, and the nurses who provided care during Louise's hospital stay.
A special thanks to Derrick Lee, nurse's aide, who showed such compassion and consideration to Louise and family members during the difficult time.
We are thankful to have such an excellent medical facility, Bartlett Regional Hospital, in Juneau.
We'd also like to acknowledge and thank Dr. Henry Akiyama, and Merritt Hogan, GNP, for their devotion and care of Louise over the years. Their professional and personal care are to be commended and we are forever grateful for their friendship.
