Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Sound off on the important issues at

Drunken driving:

• Police arrested 38-year-old Shannon Conger on a charge of drunken driving at 11:18 p.m. Thursday on Mendenhall Loop and River roads. They lodged her at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and impounded the vehicle she was driving.

• Police arrested 25-year-old Jeffrey Lee Trego on a charge of drunken driving at 11:55 p.m. Friday on inbound Egan Drive at Salmon Creek. They lodged him at the state prison and impounded the vehicle he was driving.

• Police arrested 20-year-old John Silva, a non-Juneau resident, on a charge of drunken driving at 1 a.m. Saturday on Crowhill Drive in the Douglas area. They lodged him at the state prison.

• Police arrested 36-year-old Ernesto Zamora on a charge of drunken driving at 2:42 a.m. Saturday in the 3200 block of Douglas Highway. They lodged him at the state prison and impounded the vehicle was driving.

Domestic violence:

• Police arrested a 41-year-old man on a charge of domestic-violence assault at 12:40 p.m. Thursday in the Douglas area.

• Police arrested a 19-year-old man on a charges of assault and criminal mischief, both related to domestic violence, at 1:40 p.m. Thursday in the Lemon Creek area.

• Police arrested a 48-year-old man on charges of domestic-violence assault and interfering with a domestic-violence report at 11:30 a.m. Friday in the Mendenhall Valley. They lodged him at the state prison.

• Police arrested a 37-year-old man on a charge of domestic-violence assault at 7:29 p.m. Friday in the Valley. They lodged him at the state prison.

Assault:

• Police arrested a 55-year-old man on an assault charge at 10:43 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Seward Street downtown. They lodged him at the state prison.

Theft:

• A laptop computer was reported stolen at 12:58 p.m. Thursday in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.

• License plates were reported stolen at 5:39 p.m. Thursday from the 8700 block of Glacier Highway in the Jordan Creek area.

• A briefcase holding a portable DVD player was reported stolen at 6:03 p.m. Thursday from an unlocked vehicle in the 9100 block of Glacier Highway near the airport.

• A personal digital video device was reported stolen at 10:41 a.m. Friday in the 2800 block of Riverside Drive.

• About $50 was reported stolen at 3:58 p.m. Friday in the 3200 block of Hospital Drive.

• A Mazda Protégé was reported stolen at 6:12 p.m. Friday in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road. It was later recovered.

Vandalism:

• A window was reported broken on a boat at 12:31 p.m. Thursday in the 1100 block of Slim Williams Way in the Mendenhall Valley.

• At 4:55 p.m. Thursday, a hole was reported shot into the vinyl siding of a house in the 9200 block of Gee Street in the valley.

• Utility boxes were reported vandalized with spray paint at 9:07 p.m. Thursday in the 8100 block of Dogwood Lane in the valley.

• At 10:46 a.m. Friday, a staircase in the 3300 block of Tongass Boulevard in the valley was reported damaged with spray paint.

• A window was reported broken out at 6:04 p.m. Friday in the 8700 block of Glacier Highway in the Jordan Creek area.

Vehicle accident:

• No injuries were reported in an accident at 12:23 p.m. Friday in the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard in the valley. Damage was estimated at about $500 to a 1993 Jeep driven by a 38-year-old woman and $1,500 to a parked 1999 Chevrolet Suburban.

• At 7:28 p.m. Friday, a 23-year-old woman reported the 1998 Dodge she was driving struck another vehicle on Glacier Highway near Shell Simmons Drive near the airport.

• Police cited a 55-year-old woman at 7:51 p.m. Friday on a charge of failing to stop at a stop sign at Glacier Highway and Point Lena Loop Road after an accident involving the 1997 Dodge she was driving and a 2005 Jeep Dodge driven by a 63-year-old man. Total damage was estimated at $12,000.

Traffic stop:

• Police impounded a vehicle at 7:27 p.m. Thursday on Glacier Highway in the Auke Bay area after citing the driver, a 31-year-old man, on a charge of driving without a license.

Underage drinking:

• Police cited a 14-year-old boy on a charge of underage drinking at 5:58 a.m. Saturday in Rotary Park in the valley.

Animal encounters:

• A bear was reported at 9:31 p.m. Thursday in the 8900 block of Mendenhall Loop Road. Also Thursday, a sow and two cubs were reported at 11:18 p.m. on Mendenhall Loop and River roads. Friday, a bear was reported breaking into a locked shed storing garbage at 9:29 a.m. in the 1200 block of North Douglas Highway. A bear also was reported at 11:52 a.m. breaking into a shed in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway in the Lemon Creek area. A bear also was reported at 10:20 p.m. nearby.
