Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Drunken driving:

• Police arrested Hoonah resident Javier Gomez-Olvera, 45, on a charge of drunken driving at 11:30 p.m. Friday near Patricia Place. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and his vehicle was impounded.

• Police arrested Hugo Alfredo Acosta Vanegas, 24, on a charge of drunken driving at 12:20 a.m. Saturday near Glacier Highway. He was lodged at the state prison and his vehicle was impounded.

• Police arrested Anchorage resident Shawn Borch, 29, on a charge of drunken driving at 3 a.m. Saturday near Seventh Street. He was lodged at the state prison and his vehicle was impounded.

Theft:

• A personal digital music player and a gym bag were reported stolen at 8:14 a.m. Friday in the 2700 block of Douglas Highway.

• At noon Friday near Fritz Cove Road, a woman reported the theft of a purse and $130 in cash from an unlocked vehicle.

• At 2:15 p.m. Friday near Mendenhall Loop Road, a person reported the theft of a Nokia cell phone, iPod Mini, and a Game Boy.

• At 9 p.m. Friday near Twin Lakes, a woman reported the theft of a duffle bag containing clothing valued at $1,500 and necklace worth $140.

• At 9:45 p.m. Friday near Fritz Cove Road, a woman reported the theft of a wallet containing $125 in cash from an unlocked vehicle.

Vehicle accident:

• At 3:20 p.m. Friday near Shell Simmons, a man, 84, was cited on a charge of failing to stop. His vehicle reportedly collided with a 1998 Chevy driven by a woman, 60. Both vehicles had $1,000 in damage.

Animal encounters:

• At 12:53 a.m. Friday, a bear was reported getting into trash in the 5800 block of Mountain Avenue in the Lemon Creek area.
