Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Assaults:

Police responded at 6:07 p.m. Tuesday near Glacier Highway to a boy, 13, who had been hit with a blow dart. Another boy,16, who was at the scene, was arrested for assault. He was lodged at the Johnson Youth Center.

A woman, 19, was arrested for assault at 2:12 a.m. today in the Mendenhall Valley during a domestic dispute. She was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Thefts:

Police received a report at 5:24 p.m. Tuesday near Willoughby Avenue of a stolen camping and camera equipment valued at $1,160 from a man's vehicle on Sunday.

A woman reported at 8 p.m. Tuesday that her purse was stolen in the valley area.

A man reported at 6:30 a.m. today that his bike was stolen from Rotary Park.

A man reported at 7:44 a.m. today near Glacier Highway that seven CDs valued at $100, $2 in change, Tootsie Rolls and gum was stolen from his unlocked vehicle.

Vandalism and criminal mischief:

A woman reported at 8:36 p.m. Tuesday near Raven Road that the rear window of her car had been broken out.

Vehicle accidents:

Police cited a woman, 34, for making an unsafe pass on the right at 6:40 p.m. Tuesday near Tongass Boulevard following a two-vehicle accident. The woman, driving an Accura struck a Ford driven by a woman, 28. The Accura sustained $1,000 damage while the Ford sustained $3,000 damage.

Animal encounters:

There were reports of bears at 11:34 a.m. Tuesday near Davis Avenue, at 10:45 p.m. Tuesday near Switzer Village in Lemon Creek, at 11:35 p.m. Tuesday near Douglas Highway, at 2:18 today near Fourth Street, at 7:53 p.m. Tuesday near Nancy Street and at 12:36 p.m. Tuesday near Lund Street.

Police responded to a report at 12:08 p.m. Tuesday near South Franklin Street of a bear wandering through the streets.

Police responded to a call at 12:21 a.m. today near Glacier Highway in Lemon Creek of a bear cub and its mother caught in a trap in Switzer Village.

Police followed a bear at 11:34 p.m. Tuesday near Franklin Street until it moved to a wooded area away from people.

A man reported at 11:35 p.m. near South Franklin Street that a mother bear and her cub chased him down the sidewalk.

Police responded at 5:22 p.m. Tuesday near Glacier Spur to a report of tourists attempting to follow a bear. Police were unable to locate the bear.

Other:

Police arrested a woman, 24, at 9:23 a.m. Tuesday near Foster Avenue on an outstanding $500 Juneau warrant. She was lodged at the state prison.

Police arrested a man, 27, during a traffic stop Tuesday near Meadow Lane on an outstanding state trooper warrant. He was additionally charged with driving while his license was suspended.

A man, 27, was arrested at 9:29 p.m. Tuesday near North Douglas Highway on two outstanding warrants. He was lodged at the state prison.

A man, 46, was arrested at 3:28 p.m. Tuesday near Harris Harbor on an outstanding state trooper warrant. He was lodged at the state prison.
