Reports from police, fire officials and state troopers

Sound off on the important issues at

Theft:

• At 3:50 p.m. Monday, tools worth $1,000 were reported stolen in the 9400 block of La Perouse Avenue.

Traffic accidents:

• At 2:03 p.m. Monday, a 1991 American Eagle driven by an 82-year-old woman sustained $5,000 in damage in an accident on Willoughby Avenue. The Eagle was struck by a 1997 Chevrolet van driven by a 75-year-old man. No injuries were reported.

• At 2:23 p.m. Monday, a 2001 Dodge Caravan sustained $2,500 in damage after striking a 2001 Dodge Dakota that had $1,500 in damage on Glacier Highway. No driver information was available, and no injuries were reported.

• At 7:17 p.m. Monday, a 1990 Toyota driven by a 29-year-old man was totaled in a single-vehicle accident on Egan Drive. The man suffered injuries, but his condition could not be determined Tuesday evening.

Trespassing:

• At 9:49 p.m. Monday, a 31-year-old man was arrested on a charge of trespassing in the Juneau area. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
