Rachel May Crabb, of Fairbanks, and Gary L. Jenkins II, of Juneau, will be married Aug. 24 in Fairbanks. A reception will follow. Friends and relatives of the couple are invited to a local potluck reception at Auke Bay Bible Church (11970 Glacier Highway) at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Ernie and Christy Crabb. She is a graduate of Far North Christian High School. She works multiple jobs including landscaping, the Pregnancy Care Center, substitute teaching and catering. She also is helping with the foster children in her parents' home.
The groom-elect is the son of Gary and Marion Jenkins. He is a graduate of Juneau-Douglas High School and Gonzaga University, where he earned a degree in civil engineering. He is employed as a civil engineer with Toner-Nordling and Associates, Inc.
The maids-of-honor are Rachel's two sisters, Hannah and Amie. The bridesmaids are Amie Leibbrantd and Sunny Tarrell. The best man is Gary's brother, Scott. The groomsmen are Stephen Bailey, Jason Van Sickle and Eric Hotchkiss.
The couple will honeymoon in Maui and make their home in Juneau.
