Due
to false information given to the police, and then relayed to the Juneau Empire, a 22-year-old who was arrested for drunken driving was incorrectly identified in the Sunday, Aug. 8, police blotter. Timothy J. Ackerman was arrested at 2:30 a.m. Saturday near Main Street on charges of drunken driving and refusing a breath test. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center and his vehicle was impounded. He was also charged with driving with a suspended license and filing a false report.
