Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

• James Balsiger, 59, was arrested for drunken driving at 2:32 a.m. Saturday near Glacier Highway and Hospital Drive. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Domestic violence:

• A Juneau man, 32, was arrested for third-degree assault and fourth-degree assault just after midnight Sunday after a fight at an apartment in Douglas. The man reportedly threw a cast-iron pan, briefly knocking out a 37-year-old man. He also threw a small metal storage pot at a 20-year-old woman, hitting her along the side of her head. The man was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center. The injured man was treated and released at Bartlett Regional Hospital.

Found property:

• A man, 50, reported at 10:01 p.m. Friday that he found a women's 15-speed mountain bike near Auke Lake Way.

• At 12:30 p.m. Saturday, a woman reported finding a black Novara mountain bike near Lemon Creek Road.

Lost property:

• A man, 50, reported at 2 p.m. Saturday that he lost his wallet in the Valley sometime Thursday.

• A man, 44, reported at 4:31 p.m. Saturday that he misplaced a black canvas suitcase near Glacier Highway. The suitcase contained personal items and contents worth $250.

• A man, 51, reported at 7:38 p.m. Saturday near Glacier Avenue that he lost his black velcro bifold wallet, worth $10. The wallet contained $60 in cash, as well as various cards and identification.

Minor consuming:

• Two 18-year-old women and two men, 18 and 20, were cited for minor consuming at 11:34 p.m. Friday near Third Street.

• A man, 18, was cited and released at 12:34 a.m. Saturday near Mendenhall Loop Road and Cinema Drive for minor operating after consuming. A 19-year-old female passenger was also cited for minor consuming. The vehicle was impounded.


• A woman, 35, was arrested at 1:47 a.m. Sunday near Glacier Highway for being drunk on licensed premises. A man, 24, was cited for allowing a drunk person on licensed premises.
