HOONAH - The SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium will host a special Denali KidCare pediatric dental clinic from Aug. 24 to 28 at the Hoonah Medical Clinic.
This special pediatric clinic will feature dental examination appointments on Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 24 and 25, with follow-up treatment taking place later in the week (Aug. 26 to 28). The clinic is open for children younger than 18 years old who are currently enrolled in the State of Alaska's Denali KidCare program or are on Medicaid. Dr. Howard Hunt will lead the pediatric dental team for this clinic.
Parents and guardians who wish to have their children participate in this special clinic should call Veronica Dalton with Hoonah Parents As Teachers at 945-3792 to schedule an exam appointment.
