I would like to thank the good Samaritans of this city who rescued my great dane off of Thunder Mountain last Sunday. I would like to thank them and let our fine community know of the fine people we have here. It was quite an ordeal down Heintzlman Trail with a 165-pound dog in a handmade litter. It took four men and a female helper six hours to reach the bottom. Two were hikers on the trail who volunteered their help, and the danger of personal injury from such a precarious trail was great.
My dog would not be alive today if it wasn't for the caring, unselfish people of this community.
