Ryan Kelly and Jackson Lenhart both pitched in the Gastineau Channel Little League's 8-6 win over Washington. The duo gave up seven base hits while striking out four and walking two batters.

Both pitchers were throwing strikes consistantly in the zone and getting ahead in the count early. Juneau came out with three runs in the top of the first and battled back with three in the bottom half. Yakima got two more runs in the second inning and Juneau answered with five runs in the bottom of the third to take an 8-5 lead. Jackson struck out the last batter with runners on first and third.

Juneau will face Arizona tomorrow. Arizona so far has not lost a game.

Juneau now has a record of 3-1 in its pool and is one win away from advancing to the next bracket of play.
