JUNEAU - U.S. Rep. Don Young has agreed to at least two debates heading to this month's Republican primary.
Campaign manager Sara Schwan says Young will also participate in the KAKM forum in Anchorage Aug. 18.
He'd previously agreed to a debate Tuesday in Fairbanks.
For weeks, challenger Sheldon Fisher's campaign has been pressing Young for debates, and wanted six with him before the Aug. 24 election.
This week, Young's office said the Justice Department had notified Young's legal team that it had ended an investigation of him and declined prosecution.
Young's connections to an Alaska businessman convicted of bribing state lawmakers had come under scrutiny.
Fisher said the public deserves more answers.
