``The Hunger,'' (R) 8:30 p.m. tonight and 9 p.m. Saturday at the Back Room Cinema. Starting next Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. is ``Sunset Boulevard.'' The August theme is divas.

``Gold Town,'' half-hour film, a historical dramatization about Juneau's earliest days, shows on the hour 1 to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday at the Gold Town Nickelodeon Theater in the Emporium Mall downtown, $5. Call 586-2875.

``Thomas and the Magic Railroad,'' (G) ends tonight, last show at 6:30 at the Glacier Cinema.

``X-Men,'' (PG-13) ends tonight, last shows at 7:10 and 9:20 at the Glacier Cinema.

``The Perfect Storm,'' (PG-13) ends tonight, last shows at 6:50 and 9:30 at the 20th Century Twin.

``Bless the Child,'' (R) starts Friday and shows nightly at 7 and 9:20 at the Glacier Cinema, with matinees at 2 and 4:20 Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

``The Replacements,'' (PG-13) starts Friday and shows nightly at 7:10 and 9:30 at the Glacier Cinema, with matinees at 2:10 and 4:30 Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

``The Nutty Professor II: The Klumps,'' (PG-13) shows tonight at 8:50 at the Glacier Cinema, moving downtown Friday and showing nightly at 6:50 and 9:10, with matinees at 1:50 and 4:10 Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

``Space Cowboys,'' (PG-13) shows nightly at 6:40 and 9:10 at the Glacier Cinema, with matinees at 1:40 and 4:10 Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

``Coyote Ugly,'' (PG-13) shows tonight at 6:50 and 9 at the Glacier Cinema, with the second show starting at 8:50 nightly beginning Friday, and matinees at 1:50 and 3:50 Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

``Hollowman,'' (R) shows nightly at 7 and 9:20 at the 20th Century Twin, with matinees at 2 and 4:20 Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

``What Lies Beneath,'' (PG-13) shows tonight at 7 and 9:30 at the Glacier Cinema, switching to 6:30 and 9 nightly beginning Friday, with matinees at 1:30 and 4 Saturday and Sunday afternoons.


Concerts in the Park, 7-8:30 p.m. in Marine Park. Final show of season, with Yukon Ryder, a four-piece folk and rock jam band from Anchorage, Mucho Mojo, a cappella group, Nancy's Army, a four-piece Juneau rock band.

Mucho Mojo 7 p.m. Saturday at Cafe Myriad, free. Five-person a cappella group; styles include jazz, bebop, gospel and doo-wop.


Creative dance and voice workshop, with Tanya Crosby and Pascale Wettstein. Begins Aug. 15 and meets 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday for two weeks.
