Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Thefts:

* A man reported at 11:33 a.m. Thursday near Northwood Drive the theft of a camcorder, valued at $350, from his vehicle sometime in the past four months. The man said the person broke a window to gain access.

* A woman reported at 10:33 p.m. Thursday near Marine Park a black wallet was stolen.

Vandalism and criminal mischief:

* Police received a report of a vehicle being vandalized at 9:32 p.m. Thursday near Mendenhall Mall Road.

Underage drinking:

* Police cited a man, 19, at 1:42 a.m. today near Glacier Highway in Lemon Creek for underage drinking.

Vehicle accidents:

* A woman, 19, swerved her vehicle into a ditch after avoiding a bear in the road at 10:44 p.m. Thursday near North Douglas Highway. Damage to the vehicle is estimated at $5,000.

Hit-and-run incidents:

* A woman reported at 9:44 p.m. Thursday near Simpson Avenue a hit and run vehicle accident. She said an unknown person struck her Oldsmobile causing damage to the rear left door.

Animal encounters:

* Bears were reported Thursday at 8:52 a.m. near Mendenhall Mall Road, 9:35 a.m. near Davis Avenue, 4:01 p.m. near Kanat'a Street, 4:31 p.m. near Davis Avenue, 8:20 p.m. near Engineer's Cutoff Road and 10:33 p.m. near Glacier Highway.

Other:

* Police cited a man, 31, at 10:12 p.m. Thursday near Trout Street for driving with a suspended driver's license.
