Juneau Assembly member Merrill Sanford speaks at the meeting of the International Correspondence of Corkscrew Addicts on Tuesday at the Goldbelt Hotel. Sanford is holding a custom-made corkscrew presented to the city at the start of the annual ICCA meeting. Standing at center is ICCA host Fred O'Leary, of Cupertino, Calif., and, to his left, ICCA Right Bert Giulian, of Harrisburg Penn. "Right" is the word used by ICCA members to denote the organization's leader because, as Giulian said, he would rather be "right" than president. Membership consists of collectors, sellers and users of corkscrews from around the world. Juneau was the site of the group's annual meeting. The rest of the meeting was held aboard the cruise ship Coral Princess.
