The Juneau Soccer Club Jambaars Under-15 boys soccer team went 1-1-1 in its pool and advanced to the semifinals of the Alaska State Cup in Kenai.

The Jambaars picked up their lone win Wednesday when they routed the Kenai Peninsula Soccer Club Krush 9-2.
Adam Nesheim scored a hat trick while Andy Lawson, Ben Gelotte, Peter Jorgensen, Riley Paul, Max Smith and Andy Miles all scored in the win.
Gelotte added two assists while Sage Thibodeau, Ryan McCusker, Smith and Nesheim contributed one each for Juneau.
Nathan Fosket and Zander Hoke added shots on goal for Juneau while Taylor Lehnhart turned back six shots.
Juneau moved on to the semifinals with the win.
The Jambaars opened play Monday with a loss as Full Force 93, the defending champs, won 3-0. Lehnhart made 11 saves in goal while Lawson and Smith recorded four shots on goal each.
Juneau rebounded Tuesday with a 1-1 draw against MSC United.
The Jambaars fell behind in the third minute, but Paul evened the score in the 55th minute off a pass from Fosket.
Lehnhart made six saves in the draw.
In the Under 13 boys division, the Juneau Rapids fell 6-1 to the Fairbanks Phoenix 95 on Wednesday.
Martin Woodby scored the Rapids' lone goal off Jackson Lehnhart's assist. Zach Miller made 14 saves to keep the Rapids close.
In all, eight players scored goals for Juneau.
