There is none

I read Linda Orr's comment on gay discrimination. I agree. It seems to me most strange that a man and a woman can meet in Reno, get married almost immediately, and soon afterward, often have access to much of the accumulated benefits of their partner. A gay or lesbian couple can live in a loving, committed relationship for 40 years and have no such rights. Where is the equality in that?
