Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Police arrested Erik Nelson, 27, on a drunken-driving charge at 1:12 a.m. Tuesday on 10th Street downtown. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and impounded the vehicle he was driving. Police also charged Nelson with refusing a chemical test and reckless endangerment.
Police arrested a woman, 46, of Copper Center on a charge of domestic-violence assault at 3:19 a.m. in the airport area. Police lodged her at the state prison.
At 12:59 p.m. Monday, a pair of waterproof binoculars was reported stolen Saturday night out of an unlocked vehicle on Lena Loop Road
A green mountain bike was reported stolen at 4:58 p.m. Monday in the Lemon Creek area.
A small red backpack containing a wallet, car keys and $120 was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle at 3:12 a.m. Tuesday near 12th St. and Glacier Avenue downtown.
At 6:39 a.m. Tuesday, a black and green mountain bike was reported stolen during the weekend near Northwood Drive in the Lemon Creek area.
Items valued at $750 were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle at 8:25 a.m. Tuesday near C Street downtown.
A 1999 Toyota, driven by a man, 46, sustained about $1,000 in an accident at 12:23 p.m. Monday at Glacier Highway and Industrial Boulevard. The vehicle was involved in an accident with a 1983 Chevrolet, driven by a man, 68. No injuries were reported.
Police cited a man, 19, on a charge of failing to maintain a safe distance after an accident at 5:21 p.m. Monday at Mendenhall Loop Road and Egan Drive. The 1993 Ford the man was driving sustained an estimated $2,000 in damage, as did a 2002 Chevrolet, driven by a man, 24.
Police cited a man, 43, driving a 1998 Ford truck, on a charge of failing to maintain a safe distance after an accident at 9:06 p.m. Monday at inbound Egan Drive and Mendenhall Loop Road. A man, 53, was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital for evaluation. He was driving a 1989 Ford truck. Both Ford trucks were reportedly totaled.
An estimated $300 in damage was reported to a retaining wall at 10:46 a.m. Tuesday near Willow Drive downtown. The accident reportedly involved a 1996 Ford truck driven by a man, 54.
Hit and run:
A woman reported at 5:33 p.m. Monday that she was involved in an accident with two other vehicles that left the scene, at Mendenhall Loop Road and Nancy Street. She estimated damage to her Toyota at $200.
At 9 a.m. Tuesday, a man reported that an unknown vehicle struck his 2003 Ford F150 pickup on Saturday. Damage was estimated at $1,000.
Police impounded a vehicle driven by a man, 34, who they cited on a charge of driving without a valid license at 8:06 p.m. Monday on outbound Egan Drive at Glacier Highway in the Jordan Creek area.
At 5:43 p.m. Monday, a woman reported losing a black auto-focus camera, valued at about $200, in a black cloth carrying case in the Twin Lakes area.
Electronics cable was turned over to police at 5:18 p.m. Monday after it was reportedly found near South Franklin Street downtown.
