Disturbance:
Police arrested a man, 26, on charges of criminal mischief and trespassing at 2:45 a.m. Thursday in the 8100 block of Threadneedle Street in the Mendenhall Valley.
Theft
A collectible 8-inch pewter dragon, valued at $400, was reported stolen at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday from the 6500 block of Glacier Highway in the Lemon Creek area.
A BMX-style bicycle was reported stolen at 2:38 p.m. Wednesday from Front and Seward streets.
A go-cart, valued at $1,500, was reported stolen at 3 p.m. Wednesday from the Echo Ranch Bible Camp, about 40 miles north of downtown Juneau.
About $900 worth of camera equipment was reported stolen at 7:24 a.m. Thursday from a vehicle parked somewhere in the Juneau area.
About $85 worth of gas was reported at 9:44 a.m. siphoned from a 1995 Isuzu truck in the 2000 block of Jordan Avenue near the airport.
Vehicle accident:
State troopers reported Thursday that they were investigating a Monday accident involving a 2004 Chevrolet pickup truck in Angoon. Troopers allege a girl, 15, took a vehicle belonging to her father without his permission. She allegedly allowed a friend, a girl, 14, to drive the truck. The friend reportedly lost control of the truck on Killisnoo Road, and it left the roadway. Damage to the truck was estimated at $2,000.
Found property:
At 5:25 p.m. Wednesday, a 35mm camera was reported found at a Glacier Highway bus stop in the Lemon Creek area.
Underage drinking:
Police cited a man, 20, on a charge of underage drinking at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Auke Bay ferry terminal.
Police cited a Colorado man, 20, on a charge of underage drinking at 12:52 a.m. Thursday in the 11800 block of Glacier Highway in the Auke Bay area.
Animal encounters:
A bear was reported breaking into a shed to gain access to garbage at 11:44 p.m. Wednesday in the 8700 block of Haloff Way in the Valley. Bears also were reported Thursday at 4:07 a.m. in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway and at 4:15 a.m. in the 3700 block of McGinnis Drive in the Valley.
