Troopers seize drugs from home in Wasilla

WASILLA - Alaska State Trooper investigators say they seized three pounds of hallucinogenic mushrooms and other drugs from a home in Wasilla.

Residents of the home, 27-year-old Trenton Vogt and 26-year-old Jamie Vogt, were charged with conspiracy and seven counts of drug misconduct.

Investigators served the search warrant Thursday.

They say they found 36 marijuana plants in two indoor gardens.

Investigators also seized 8.5 grams of crystal methamphetamine, digital scales, packaging baggies and $1,135 in cash.

Troopers say the mushrooms had an estimated street value of $19,000.
