Driving while intoxicated:
Shortly before 11 p.m. Friday, police investigated a rollover accident on Glacier Avenue. The driver, Garth Rogers, 36, was arrested for drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level in excess of 0.10 percent. Rogers was transported to and lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center. His vehicle was impounded.
Thefts, lost/found items:
Shortly before 9 a.m. Friday, a woman, 47, reported losing a gold ring set with three diamonds. It was lost some time during the past month.
Shortly after 10 a.m. Friday, a man, 41, reported losing a checkbook in the Juneau area. Checks have been written on the man's account since he lost the checkbook.
About 3:30 p.m. Friday, a man, 41, brought to the Juneau Police Department a wallet he had found in the downtown area. The wallet was placed into safekeeping.
About 7:30 p.m. Friday, a blue backpack found on Glacier Highway was turned in to the police station. The item was placed into safekeeping pending notification of owner.
Shortly before 8 p.m. Friday, police arrested a man, 36, on Front Street on an outstanding JPD warrant for failure to appear. He was transported to state prison.
About 10:15 a.m. Friday, police issued a verbal warning to a man, 45, for harassment after he left a taped phone message.
Shortly before 7 p.m. Friday, police responded to a report of a vehicle off the roadway at Mile 32 Glacier Highway. A girl, 16, operating a blue 1985 Chevrolet, was cited for careless driving. A boy, 16, was transported to Bartlett Regional Hospital for treatment of arm lacerations.
Shortly before 9 a.m. Friday, a woman, 39, reported the front window of her business at Auke Bay harbor had been broken some time during the night. Nothing seemed to be missing. The window sustained $200 damage.
About 3 a.m. Saturday, a caller reported a bear in the area of Kodzoff Acres Mobile Home Park. The bear appeared to be injured. Police found the bear has a trap on one leg, causing it to limp along on the other three. It wandered off into the greenbelt area.
About 5:30 p.m. Friday, police arrested a man, 20, at a billiard parlor on Front Street on an outstanding Juneau Alaska State Troopers enforcement warrant for failure to appear for a status hearing and failure to pay a court-ordered fine.
After responding to a request for a welfare check at Alderwood Apartments about 6 p.m. Friday, police arrested a man, 22, on an outstanding JPD warrant for failure to pay fines and comply with court-ordered conditions of probation.
Shortly after 6 p.m. Friday, police arrested a man, 23, on an outstanding JPD warrant for non-compliance with court-ordered substance-abuse treatment. The man was additionally charged with driving without a valid license.
Shortly before 4 a.m. Saturday, police arrested a man, 22, on Cinema Drive on an outstanding Juneau AST warrant charging driving without a valid operator's license. He was transported to and lodged at state prison.
About 8 a.m. Friday, police cited a man, 47, at Auke Bay for driving with a revoked license. His vehicle was released at the scene to a licensed driver.
About 8:30 a.m. Friday, a man, 20, was cited and released for driving without a valid license after a police officer conducted a traffic stop on Main Street of the vehicle he was driving. The vehicle was released to the driver's father.
Shortly after 7 p.m. Friday, a man, 40, was cited near Auke Recreation Area for driving without a valid license. The vehicle was released to a properly-licensed passenger.
