Former Juneau resident Robert M. Lowe Jr. died Aug. 11, 2002, in Eugene, Ore.
He was a retired professional civil engineer and land surveyor. He and his wife Mildred lived in Juneau from 1960 to 1977. They lived in Oregon for the last 25 years.
He was an avid bridge card player, gardener and brewmaster.
He was preceded in death by his wife on April 19, 2002.
He is survived by his sons Douglas (Caren) R. Lowe of Eugene, Ore., and Dennis (Deane) M. Lowe of Greenville, Texas; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister Jean Durant of Auburn, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
