Thirteen American Field Service exchange students arrive in Juneau for their welcome orientation this past weekend. The students will live with host families and attend high school in Juneau, Sitka, Haines and Ketchikan. AFS International Programs traces its heritage to a volunteer ambulance driver program during World War I and World War II, and the international high school exchange program started in 1947-48.
