... for helping with Tribal Embrace Walk

Central Council of Tlingit & Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska's Ray Paddock Major Medical and Elderly Emergency Assistance programs would like to thank all the local organizations and community members who made or collected contributions to the Tribal Embrace Walk fund-raiser July 26 at Twin Lakes.

Thanks to the following organizations and local merchants: Sealaska Corporation, Goldbelt Corporation, Huna Totem, Kootznoowoo, Southeast Regional Health Consortium, A&P, Oliver's Trophies.

A special thank you to the co-sponsors: Central Council of Tlingit & Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska, T & H City and the City and Borough of Juneau, AFN Wellness Program, Douglas Indian Association Wellness Program.

And thanks to all the hard work put in by volunteers from Tribal Family Youth Services Department staff, Ray Paddock Major Medical Committee Volunteers, Tlingit & Haida Elders Caregivers Council, Gary Berry for use of tents at the lake, Yaaw TeiYi Native dance group, Children of all Nations dance group, Sam Leo, ANB cook, Linda Carroll, AFN Wellness Activities cook, Chris Burns of KINY Capital Chat radio program.
