Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Drunken driving:

• Police arrested Lance Mitchell, 34, on a charge of drunken driving at 12:42 a.m. Friday on Douglas Highway near Sitka Street. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and his vehicle was impounded.

• Dorene Howard, 35, was arrested at 1:45 a.m. Saturday near Thunder Mountain Road on charges of drunken driving and refusing a breath test. She was lodged at the state prison and her vehicle was impounded.

Underage drinking:

• Two men, 20, were cited at 11 p.m. Friday near Savikko Road for underage drinking.

• A man, 19, was cited at 1:30 a.m. Saturday near South Franklin Street for underage drinking.


• A 24-inch 14-speed mountain bike was reported stolen at 12:32 p.m. Thursday near Mendenhall Loop Road.

• About 20 compact discs were reported stolen from an unlocked Chevrolet truck at 11:02 a.m. Friday near Mark Alan Street in the Lemon Creek area.

• A boy, 16, was arrested at 1:30 p.m. Friday near Mendenhall Mall Road on a shoplifting charge.

• A man, 35, was arrested at 2:50 p.m. Friday at South Franklin Street on charges of shoplifting and violating conditions of release. He was lodged at the state prison.


• A man, 23, was arrested at 1:50 a.m. Saturday near Front Street on a charge of assault. He was lodged at the state prison.

Vehicle accidents:

• Police cited a woman, 27, the driver of a 2000 Dodge truck, on a charge of failing to maintain a safe distance after an accident reported at 2:06 p.m. Thursday at Ka-See-Ann and Lee Smith drives near the airport. Also involved was a 1995 Jeep, driven by a man, 33. Damage to the Dodge was estimated at $1,000. Damage to the Jeep was estimated at $2,000.
