JUNEAU - Incumbent Juneau Assemblyman David Stone was certified Thursday as a candidate in the Oct. 6 municipal elections.

Two more seats on the Juneau Assembly and three School Board seats will also be on the ballot. As of Thursday, no one - including the incumbents - has been certified for the School Board seats.

Of the six seats, only the mayor's race between incumbent Bruce Botelho and Coast Guard veteran Mark Farmer is competitive thus far.

The election filing period closes at 4:30 p.m. Monday.
