Frances Clauder of Juneau and Daniel Rohr of Vader, Wash., were married in a ceremony on Aug. 3, at high tide, on Shelter Island.
The bride's uncle, Jay Sims, officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Elizabeth Clauder. She is a graduate of Juneau-Douglas High School and is currently employed as a teacher's assistant for Dancing Bear Too Montessori School.
The groom is the son of Carole Kostell and Bill Rohr (deceased). He is a graduate of Wrangell High School and is currently employed as a mill operator for Kennicott Greens Creek Mining.
The matron of honor was Christina Rich. Bridesmaids were Sara Clauder, Helea Hendricks, Nicole Clauder and Candy Sims. The flower girls were Ashleigh Rich and Caitlynn Rich.
Best man was Wesley Strasburger. The groomsmen were Joaquin Romero, Robert Clauder, Donald Sims and Jason Sims. The ring bearer was Trevor Clauder.
The couple honeymooned at Bremerton and Yelm, Wash., and will make their home in Juneau.
