Don't permit Office Depot to open

Posted: Friday, August 17, 2007

I am writing in response to the article, "Office Depot hits a bump in the road." I agree with the hold pending the permit of Office Depot. I feel that the permit should not be approved because we already have enough traffic congestion on Glacier Highway. Also, we have enough stores such as Costco, Wal-Mart and Fred Meyer that have office supply merchandise and other office suppliers already.

Sound off on the important issues at

Another building in this area is bad for the expensive homes in the area. Lemon Creek also is a home of the black bears and our American eagles. This building also will add more cars and more pollution to this area. We also have to think about the children from Switzer and other communities near by that cross the street to Party Zone and Wal-Mart.

We also have enough with the dump site that we have. Why should we add another problem? Please listen and cancel the permit. It is better to save lives than to built another commercial building at Lemon Creek.
