ANCHORAGE - Two girls were killed Friday morning when they were struck by a truck driving along a busy highway in Anchorage.
Police said the girls, ages 12 and 16, were killed on the Glenn Highway at Bragaw Street. Police said the older girl was intoxicated, as were two adults with the girls.
According to The Anchorage Daily News, the 16-year-old was identified as Jenilee Francis. She died at a local hospital from her injuries.
The 12-year-old girl was not identified.
