Johnnie, Schowe to married July 1

Lillian Tootsie Johnnie of Juneau and Mat Schrowe of Helena, Mont. were married in a ceremony at 2:30 p.m. July 1 at Holland Lake Lodge, Mont. A reception followed at 4:30 p.m.

The bride is the daughter of August Johnnie and Evelyn Kirstine. She is a graduate of Montana State University and is employed as an office rep for Blue Cross Blue Shield.

The groom is the son of Chris Schrowe and Sandra Crow. He is a graduate of Montana State University and is employed as a truck dispatcher for T&M Transports.

The couple will make their home in Helena, Mont.

Brown, Kostenko to marry Aug. 19

De Marie Brown and Jeremy Jason Kostenko, both of Juneau, will be married in a ceremony at 10 a.m. Aug. 19 at Valley Chapel. A reception will follow at the Auke Rec shelter.

Friends and relatives of the couple are invited to the wedding and reception.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Judith Brown. She is a graduate of Juneau-Douglas High School and is employed as a secretary for the state Division of Retirement and Benefits.

The groom-elect is the son of Gary and Karen Kostenko. He is a graduate of JDHS and is employed as a mover for AAA Moving and Storage.

The couple will make their home in Juneau.

Duval, Kent to marry Aug. 26

Tiffany Duval and Don Kent, both of Juneau, will be married in a ceremony at 7 p.m. Aug. 26 at Glacier Gardens. A reception will follow at 7:30 p.m. at the Juneau Yacht Club.

Friends and relatives of the couple are invited to the wedding and reception.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Charles and Susan Duval. She is a graduate of Juneau-Douglas High School and is employed as a customer service agent for Wings of Alaska.

The groom-elect is the son of Philiciann "Phil" Nora Bennett and Richard Kent. He is a graduate of JDHS and is employed as a IBEW wireman apprentice for Juneau Electric.

The maid of honor will be Krista Fish, with bridesmaids Kathy Ecklund, Katrina Davis and Somer Duval. The flower girl will be the couple's daughter, Saylor Kent.

The best man will be Bryan Thomas, with groomsmen Chad Diekmann and Jake Kent. The ushers will be Shawn Duval and Herbert Millay.

The couple will make their home in Juneau.
