Stiff price for dumping garbage

I had extra trash this week, and the cans were full early. I went to the dump Monday and was quoted more than $50 to empty two garbage cans.

I abruptly went home with the full cans. I will vigilantly stomp and compress this garbage and will hold out until my garbage day, which is Thursday.

Rates like these make honest people think of not-so-honest alternative solutions.
