ANCHORAGE - A Dillingham man found with more than 2 pounds of marijuana in his home has been convicted of two felony drug charges.
Fifty-four-year-old Danny Pearson was convicted Friday by a Dillingham jury.
According to trial prosecutor Brittany Dunlop, officers went to Pearson's home to serve a domestic violence protective order on his roommate and discovered a marijuana growing operation.
Dunlop says evidence collected indicated Pearson was moving his grow operation to another location when police arrived.
Pearson acted as his own lawyer at trial. Superior Court Judge John W. Wolfe will sentence him in November.
